How do I enable Hot Link Protection? (Hot Link Protection FAQ)

Q: How to enable Hotlink protection? A: Click on “HotLink Protection†(cPanel > HotLink Protection) and click on the “Activate†button. Q: How to allow direct requests? A: Click on “HotLink Protectionâ€, make sure the box beside Allow direct requests is checked and click on the “Activate†button. Q: How to disallow direct requests? A: Click on “HotLink Protectionâ€, make sure the box beside Allow direct requests is unchecked and click on the “Activate†button. Q: How to change the URL to redirect when hotlinked? A: Click on “HotLink Protectionâ€, enter the URL you wish to redirect users in the field next to Url to redirect to and click on the “Activate†button.
