How do I enable Hot Link Protection? (Hot Link Protection FAQ)

Q: How to enable Hotlink protection?
A: Click on “HotLink Protection” (cPanel > HotLink Protection) and click on the “Activate” button.

Q: How to allow direct requests?
A: Click on “HotLink Protection”, make sure the box beside Allow direct requests is checked and click on the “Activate” button.

Q: How to disallow direct requests?
A: Click on “HotLink Protection”, make sure the box beside Allow direct requests is unchecked and click on the “Activate” button.

Q: How to change the URL to redirect when hotlinked?
A: Click on “HotLink Protection”, enter the URL you wish to redirect users in the field next to Url to redirect to and click on the “Activate” button.

Q: How to add extensions to the hotlink protection?
A: Click on “HotLink Protection”, add the extension you wish to add in the field next to Extensions to allow and click on the “Activate” button.

Q: How to remove extensions from the hotlink protection?
