Backup Drive Replacement - Singapore Smart Cloud Server 1[Resolved]

Dear Client,

We have traced out hardware issues as in relation with the Singapore Smart Cloud Server 1 server during our server audits. Seems like there is a faulty drive on this hardware node. Though, this specific drive is not in anyways related to any server data or contents, as it is a spare drive,  we have outlined that the drive replacement is mandatory.

In order to replace the drive we need to shut down the server, open up the server chassis and replace the drive and reboot the system. As a security measure, we recommend that you take a backup of your data to your local end, or remote.

The maintenance is scheduled to be done on Friday 13th March 2020, around 9PM SG time. If you have any questions or concerns, kindly open a ticket so that we can address the same.

Update 1:  Backup drive replacement has been completed.  The total downtime was around 30 minutes and the hardware node is fully functional right now.
